How to Wash your V Bottle

How to Wash your V Bottle

First and foremost, even if you don't plan to use the bottle's mist function, it's important not to put other liquids inside the bottle. A sugary drink could leave residue and block portions of the bottle's mechanism.

The bottle can be filled with water, or a mixture of water and ice cubes.

Do not place the bottle with water and/or with the cap in the freezer. The bottle alone, without water or its cap, can be placed in the freezer for up to an hour before filling.

To prevent the formation of bacteria and ensure a clear taste of the water in your bottle, here are some washing and maintenance tips:

  • Neither the bottle nor the cap should be cleaned in the dishwasher. This type of washing can damage the insulated walls and the components of the cap.
  • Wash the bottle with warm water and dish soap between each use.
  • Rinse the bottle and the mist system well. To do this, activate the mist lever several times and change the rinse water as needed.
  • Allow to air dry. When the bottle is dry, before storing or filling it up, assemble it then activate the mist lever ten times to evacuate all the moisture from the tube.
  • After every 10 uses, soak the bottle and cap in hot, soapy water. Fill it with lukewarm water and activate the mist lever a dozen times. Follow with regular washing, rinsing, and, drying.
